Who handles your information

Verse Studios is operated by Verse Development, which is responsible for the information described on this page. Our Roblox experiences are published under the Hiland group.

Browsing the site

You do not need an account to use this website. Browsing the public pages does not require you to give us any personal information.

What the application forms collect

Our application forms collect exactly what you type into them — your Roblox and Discord usernames, your age range, the answers you write, and, for creator applications, the channel links and audience figures you provide. Nothing is collected from you silently beyond this.

Please do not send us passwords, payment details, home addresses, government ID, or any other sensitive personal information. We do not need it, and we do not ask for it.

How we use it

  • To review your application
  • To contact you about it, through the Discord username you gave us
  • To run the Game Testing and Creator Programs
  • To prevent spam, duplicate applications, and abuse
  • To keep internal records of who is in each program

Technical information

Our hosting, database, and anti-spam providers process standard technical information in the course of serving the site, such as IP addresses and request logs. This is normal for any website.

We do not store raw IP addresses in our own application records. Where we need to limit how often the forms can be submitted, the address is converted into a one-way hash that is discarded shortly afterwards and cannot be turned back into an IP address.

Who can see applications

Application records are private. They are stored in a database that is not readable from the public website, and they are only accessible to the Verse Studios team members who review applications. We do not sell application data, and we do not share it for advertising.

New applications are also delivered into a private Discord channel that only our review team can see, so that we can read them without opening the database. This means your application passes through Discord as well as our hosting and database providers. It is never posted anywhere public.

How we protect it, honestly

We take sensible precautions. Applications are stored in a database that the public website cannot read, access is limited to the people who review applications, and the site does not ask for passwords or payment details at any point.

We cannot promise perfect security, and you should be wary of anyone who does. No website or database is completely safe from every possible attack. What we can promise is that we do not collect more than we need, and that we will tell you promptly if we ever discover that application data has been exposed.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep applications for as long as they are reasonably useful for running the programs. As a rule of thumb, that means we review stored applications at least once a year and delete anything we no longer have a reason to keep — including applications we declined.

You can ask us at any time what you submitted, to correct it, or to delete it, and we will do that within a reasonable time unless we are legally required to keep it. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian may ask on your behalf. Deleting your application also withdraws it.

Age

You must be at least 13 to apply to either program. Our programs run through Discord, which sets the same minimum age.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us an application, contact us and we will delete it.

Applicants under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian before taking part in anything involving payment or a separate agreement, and the Creator Program requires that permission up front.
